Nick Scheel Race Report

The Hal Rosoff Classic in Newport Beach marked my third race in 2011. It seems like every race just gets better and better! This time EJ was kind enough to lend me his R&D board. It’s very cool that EJ and other Starboard people are so encouraging. About 200 SUP racers competed in the 6 mile loop throughout Newport Harbor.
This race was amazing! Although there wasn’t a youth division, I did very well thanks to Starboard.
I’m off to Tavarua this week and hope to ride some waves. I’ll keep you posted.
