A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF: I went to LaVentana, in Baja, MX with a tent, a kite, a board and a reel-style leash. The idea was to sleep by the ocean, eat tortillas, and learn to kite or go home in shame. Although shame remains an occasional companion, I left without the reel and knowing how to kite. As my wife says, that was the end of our lives as we knew ‘em.
